Who We Are

In collaboration with the Children’s House and Ruth Morrow, Une École Pour Tous began operations in the summer of 2008. Inspired by the vision of French couple Tracy Bénéteau de Laprairie and Antoine Beyret, both of whom have a wealth of experience in childhood education, Une École Pour Tous is Kingston’s first French Montessori school.

Tracy has worked as an educator of children since 1998. She received her diploma from the institute Maria Montessori of Paris in 2004, and worked in various Montessori schools in France (Turbul), and in Quebec (École Montessori International). In Kingston, Tracy worked for The Children's House Montessori school with Ruth Morrow, where a partnership was born which allowed for the creation of Une École Pour Tous.

Antoine is a graduate in social work and education. He has worked with children with physical and developmental disabilities and has invested seven years in social community development with parents and children of various ages. Antoine is preparing for Montessori training.

Tracy and Antoine both came in Kingston in 2007 as French teachers, and are the parents of three school-age children.

Une École Pour Tous welcomes a community of children who are culturally diverse in their abilities, their interests, and their needs. Our curriculum is internationally recognized and has been implemented at numerous schools in Canada, the United States and throughout the world. Une École Pour Tous is licensed under the Day Nurseries Act.
